National Pharmacy Week 2018
57th National Pharmacy Week 2018 was conducted by India Pharmaceutical Association, Pune Branch during 25th September 2018 to 1st October 2018 based on theme ‘ Pharmacists: Your Medicine Experts’. All Pharmacy colleges in Pune region participated in NPW Celebration. Various Competitions were organized namely Essay, Pharma AD-Mad, Drawing, Poster presentation, Patient counselling, interview skills, Pharma detailing, Extempore, Whats up best quote, Quiz, Elocution, Group discussion and Debate.
Aishwarya Newase Student of S.Y. B. Pharmacy got runner up Prize in drawing competition held at Shankarrao Ursal College of Pharmacy, Kharadi.
World Pharmacist Day
World pharmacist day 2018 was celebrated with tremendous joy by all staff and students. Beginning of the programme with pharma rally, which spread awareness about pharmacy and pharmacist importance in society. By the end of rally further programme was extended with deep prajwalan by hands of Campus director K. Y. Chaudhari and Principal Dr. R. G. Katedeshmukh. Then Pharmacist Oath was taken by all staff members as well as students. During this programme rangoli competition was held on theme “Pharmacist: your Medicine expert”. Principal Dr. R. G. Katedeshmukh expressed his views and given the motivational message to students being a pharmacist what are our duties towards human health. Programme was concluded with presentation of pathnatya by third year students and finally vote of thanks given by the Mrs. P. B. Kothawade.
